Description

DS, two pages, 8 x 13, August 17, 1931. Contract between Mae West and the Macaulay Company, in which West agrees to assign and transfer "all the dramatic, moving picture, mechanical reproduction and radio broadcasting rights" for her book The Constant Sinner, originally entitled 'Black and White.' Signed at the conclusion by West. In fine condition. The play based on The Constant Sinner ran on Broadway from September 14, 1931, to November 7, 1931, with Mae West in the lead role of Babe Gordon.
