Free-franked envelope, 8.75 x 3.5, addressed in another hand to New Jersey congressman, “Hon. George Sykes, Wrightstown, N. J.,” with a Mount Holly address crossed out in the second line, and franked in the upper right, “Free, J. K. Polk.” In very good condition, with creasing, staining, and a vertical fold to the left side; the red wax seal on the back remains essentially intact.
