Two items: an uncommon FDC, 7.5 x 4.25, bearing an Atomic Bomb stamp and exact replica in genuine 22kt gold, postmarked September 3, 1995, signed in blue ink, "Paul Tibbets, Pilot, 6 Aug, 1945, Hiroshima” and “Charles W. Sweeney, Pilot, Nagasaki 9 Aug, 45”; and an unused sheet of thirty-six souvenir “Atomic bombs end World War II” stamps, 11 x 8.5, signed in the lower right in blue ballpoint by the stamp’s co-designers, aviation artist Ron Kaplan and Vietnam veteran Gerry Newhouse. In overall fine condition.
