Inventor of the biplane used in WWI called the Sopwith Camel (1888-1989). Two items: a semi-glossy 6 x 4 postcard photo of a Sopwith Camel F1 single-seat fighter, signed in black felt tip, "T.O.M. Sopwith"; and a felt tip signature, "T.O.M. Sopwith, 1978," on the reverse of an off-white 6 x 4 compliment sheet. In overall fine condition.
