Vintage circa 1960s analog computer made by Beckman Instruments known as the Electrocomp Electric Heating Computer, used for estimating electric heating costs based on factors input via several knobs on the face. The array of knobs allows for input of "Area" and "Insulation Factor" for "Gross Walls," "Windows and Doors," "Ceiling," and "Floor," as well as "Floor Type" and "Basement Walls (% Above Grade)," with the readout of cost per kilowatt on an analog meter. Housed in a black suitcase measuring 17″ x 13″ x 4″. In fine condition. This basic portable analog computer was designed to aid salesmen with their calculations, whether room-by-room or for an entire structure.
