Superb original vintage circa 1921 matte-finish 8 x 10 photograph of Thomas Edison in his laboratory, working to extract rubber from goldenrod. Reverse bears two affixed newspaper captions, stamp-dated 1921 and 1931. Encapsulated by PSA and certified as an authentic "Type I" photograph. In fine condition, with trimmed edges and some light editorial touch-ups to the image.
