Description

Aviator (1900-1929) who made the first non-stop flight between New York City and Havana, Cuba, and who died in a crash in 1929. Airmail cover marked with a cachet reading "Stultz Day, Middletown, Penna, Stultz, Earhart, Gordon, July 28, 1928," postmarked at Middletown on July 28, 1928, signed on the reverse flap in fountain pen by Wilmer Stultz, "W. L. Stultz." In fine condition, with light toning and soiling.
