TLS, signed in pencil, one page, 8 x 10, July 10, 1958. Written from London's Stafford Hotel, a letter to E. Duthie, in full: "I am much too old and tired out to try to follow your figures and percentages, but the fee is all right with me. You would have to get the permission of The New Yorker, together with its formal copyright and credit line, by writing to Miss D. E. Terry. Tell her that you have arranged the fee with me. I am enclosing a copy of this letter for you to send to her." In fine condition, with staple holes and two small rust stains to the upper left corner.
