Description

Partly-printed DS as president, signed “Benj. Harrison,” one page, 19.5 x 14, February 24, 1891. President Harrison appoints William H. Gibson as "Postmaster at Tiffin in the County of Seneca, State of Ohio." Signed boldly at the conclusion by President Harrison, and countersigned by Postmaster General John Wanamaker. Lower left retains the original gold seal and red ribbon. In fine condition, with scattered light creasing.
