Sought-after pair of limited edition 'Book of the Dead' DVDs for The Evil Dead and Evil Dead II, with an opening page of each booklet featuring a terrific original felt tip sketch by the film's special effects makeup artist and animator Tom Sullivan. The Evil Dead sketch features a stick-impaled skull with bats flying in the background and is signed, "Lick the blood off my shovel! Your pal, Tom Sullivan." The Evil Dead II sketch features the grim-faced Necronomicon book and is signed, "I'll swallow your soul! Your beast fiend, Tom Sullivan." Also included is a felt tip sketch of a broken skull on a white 11 x 8.5 cardstock sheet, signed below, "We're gonna get you! Your idol, Tom Sullivan." In overall fine condition.
