Uncommon pair of programs for ceremonies held at London's St. Paul's Cathedral in honor of the American Memorial Chapel: the first program, 9.25 x 11.5, concerns a "Service of Commemoration and of Dedication" held on July 4, 1951, to honor "28,000 American dead in war-time comradeship with the people of Britain," with the dedication of the Roll of Honor presented for the American Memorial Chapel by General Dwight D. Eisenhower; and the second program, 8.5 x 11.25, for a "Dedication of the American Memorial Chapel" on November 26, 1958, held in the presence of "Her Majesty the Queen and the Vice President of the United States," with the Memorial Inscription reading: "This Chapel commemorates the common sacrifices of the British and American peoples during the second World War and especially those American service men whose names are recorded in its Roll of Honour." In overall fine condition, with an edge tear to the 1951 program. Accompanied by an entry ticket to the 1951 ceremony and three glossy photos taken at St. Paul's Cathedral.
