Group of eight original vintage glossy NASA photos, 8 x 10 and 10 x 8, six of which show Apollo 16 Extravehicular Mobility Unit (EMU) exercises at the Flight Crew Training Building, and the other two photos, both red-numbered, depict Apollo 16 activities on the lunar surface. The red-numbered photos include an image of LMP Charlie Duke obtaining rock samples near the moon's Plum Crater and the other image shows the lunar rover, centered and off in the distance, driving on the lunar horizon. The training photos, four of which depict Duke and CDR John Young, offer behind-the-scene glimpses of EMU fitting and checking. Reverse of each photo bears “A Kodak Paper” watermarks, with six featuring purple NASA caption text. In overall fine condition. From the collection of Dan Schaiewitz, who worked as Extravehicular Crew Training Engineer at KSC.
