Inscribed to a key campaign strategist

Color glossy 7.5 x 10 half-length portrait of President Johnson in front of two flags, affixed to its 11 x 14 mount, signed on the mount in black ink, "Lyndon B. Johnson," and inscribed in a calligraphic hand, "To Charles Tyroler, II, With best wishes." In fine condition. Tyroler was a longtime Democratic Party strategist who went on to serve as a member of the President's Intelligence Oversight Board during the Reagan and Bush administrations; he was active in the presidential campaigns of John F. Kennedy in 1960 and Lyndon B. Johnson in 1964
