Armenian-American composer (1911-2000) who ranks among the most prolific of the 20th century. ALS, one page, 8.25 x 11.75, stamped personal letterhead, March 4, 1961. Letter to "Mr. Fischbach," in part: "In answer to your questions, living composer most admired, Dwaram Venkataswamy Naidu of South India, or all time, George Frederick Handel (Operas and Oratorios). My best work, 'Magnificat.'" Below, he adds an AMQS from "Mysterious Mountain." In fine condition, with a trivial thin bit of toning at the center.
