Description

American computer scientist (born 1934) who made several important contributions to the field of computer networking, in particular to the theoretical foundations of computer networking. He played an influential role in the development of the ARPANET, the precursor to the Internet. Color glossy 10 x 8 half-length photo of Kleinrock posing with the host computer that, in 1969, become the first node connected to the ARPANET, the predecessor of today’s Internet, signed in gold ink by Kleinrock. In very fine condition. Accompanied by a personal University of California business card belonging to Kleinrock, who has signed the card in black ink.
