The earlier letter, dated August 3, 1983, addressed to Dot and Evelyn, in part: "It was fun seeing you both—I'm glad you're doing the hospices—I'll try to get the play by Sandol Stoddard & Ernest Thompson." The second, July 5, 1984, to Alice Hicks, in part: "Wonderful nuts arrived bearing your name & filling our stomachs. Delicious!" In overall fine condition.
