Wonderful color semi-glossy 16 x 20 photo of McCandless floating in space during his STS-41-B mission, signed nicely against the dark background in silver ink, "Bruce McCandless II, STS 41-B," who adds a lengthy inscription above: "In order to test the Manned Maneuvering Unit (MMU/ and the Manipulation Foot Restraint (MFR), I made the first untethered free flight on each of the two MMUs onboard. I became the first person ever to make an untethered spacewalk on February 7, 1984." In fine condition. Accompanied by a photo of McCandless taken at the time of signing.
