Description

Fantastic glossy 5.5 x 3.75 photo of Madame Chiang Kai-shek seated at a table with her husband, signed in fountain pen, "Mayling Soong Chiang." Reverse bears a "Photo by Wu Chung Yee" credit stamp and a typed collector's notation indicating that it was received in January 1957. In very good to fine condition, with scattered creasing, and light surface impressions from a long typed notation on the reverse. Accompanied by a 1956 transmittal letter from the secretary of Madame Chiang Kai-shek, and a printed pamphlet entitled "The Crossroad: Survival or Destruction."
