Description

Two official color 10 x 8 NASA lithographs of the Apollo 17 mission: one shows Cernan riding a 'stripped down' rover along the lunar surface, signed and inscribed in black felt tip, "To M/M Ken Brown, Good Luck, Gene Cernan, Apollo XVII"; and the other depicts the nighttime launch of the Apollo 17 rocket, signed and inscribed in black ink, "To Joyce & Ken, Best wishes, Gene Cernan." Typed collector's notations on reverse of each indicate that the signatures were obtained in January 1988 and July 1990. In overall fine condition, with scattered light creasing, and some light scratched to the lunar photo.
