Blythe of New York, in part: "In connection with the plans outlined in your letter of September 4th, relative to the aerial sham-battle over New York City on October 3rd, you are advised that your scheme meets with the approval of this office. However, as all of the air units at Mitchel Field will be under the control of the Second Corps Area Commander, the actual approval of the project will have to be secured from that office." In fine condition.
