ALS, one page, 8 x 10.5, October 20, 1964. Letter written from "Houston, Texas," in part: "My wife and I both enjoy Houston very much. Although the climate is not as dry and sunny as Phoenix, the people here are very friendly and have made us feel at home. I do occasionally fly over Arizona, but usually do not land there. I did graduate from West Point (twelve years ago) and am glad to hear that it is still as pretty a spot as ever." In fine condition, with staple holes to the upper left. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope addressed in Collins's hand.
