Description

German statesman (1849-1929) who served as Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and then as Chancellor of the German Empire from 1900 to 1909. ALS in German, one page, 8.25 x 10.5, June 1901. In full (translated): "The concept of the communality of mankind's intellectuality interests and the context uniformity of all true knowledge was never given up by the Germans. For this reason they unite the nations to share and cultivate all the intellectual property whose importance transcends single folks or times. They are the priestly folk which is called to carry the eternal goods of mankind in their pure hands." In fine condition, with a few light stains.
