TLS, one page, 8.5 x 11, personal letterhead, July 30, 1930. Letter to C. C. Sherlock of the Ladies Home Journal, in full: "Your wire has just been received. I have no contracts about writing or not writing but the fact is that the work that I am doing takes so much of my attention that it does not seem possible for me to take on anything else. I have always had in mind the matter of the World Court concerning which I had some correspondence with your publication but I never got around to do anything about it. Thank you very much for remembering me." In fine condition, with two old mounting remnants on the reverse.
