Three items signed by Confederate officers:
ALS signed "I. R. Trimble," one page, 7.75 x 9.75, December 25, no year, concerning the transaction of two pieces of land. Isaac R. Trimble (1802-1888) was the highest-ranking CSA general from Maryland. He led a division during Pickett’s Charge at Gettysburg, where he was wounded and captured.
Ink signature, "Rob't B. Vance, Riverside, N. C.," on an off-white 6.75 x 2.5 sheet. Robert B. Vance (1828-1899) was a CSA brigadier general who saw action at the the Battle of Murfreesboro, and later served as a congressman from North Carolina.
Ink signature, "R. L. Gibson, New Orleans, Louisiana," on an off-white 6.75 x 2.5 sheet. Randall L. Gibson (1832-1892) was a CSA brigadier general who took part in the 1862 Kentucky Campaign and 1864 Atlanta Campaign, and later served as a congressman and senator from Louisiana.
