Partly-printed vellum DS as president, one page, 12.75 x 8, March 8, 1819. President Monroe grants Samuel Shull a parcel of land in Wooster, Ohio, of the lands directed to be sold by "the Act of Congress, entitled 'An Act providing for the sale of the Lands of the United States, in the Territory north west of Ohio, and above the mouth of Kentucky River.'" Signed at the conclusion by President Monroe and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office Josiah Meigs. The white paper seal affixed to the lower left remains partially intact. In very good condition, with heavy overall rippling, toning and soiling, vellum loss to the left edge, and some paper loss to the seal.
