American politician (1754-1834) who served during the Revolutionary War and was a first responder to the historic Lexington alarm of April 19, 1775. Revolutionary War-dated manuscript DS, signed “Eben. Huntington,” one page, 8.25 x 1.5, October 18, 1782. In full: "This may Certify that David Lindzy serv'd in Colo. Sam B. Webb's Reg't the year of 1780." In fine condition.
