Group of four bold ink sketches accomplished by Hoff on individual off-white cards, ranging in size from 4.25 x 2.5 to 4.5 x 3.5, all stylistically signed "Hoff." The cartoons show: a man looking at a "Keep off the Grass" sign; a group of three men in hats; a shirtless man in a top hat slugging another man, exclaiming, "Pahdon my not having a glove!"; and a person exclaiming "Hard times again!" while holding a newspaper with the headline, "119 Candidates File." In fine condition.
