TLS, one page, 7.25 x 10.5, personal letterhead, December 12, 1963. Letter to Peter Detmold, in full: "Your father brought me your letter this morning and I am happy to know that you watch our program every Sunday and that you also enjoy our pictures in the theatres. Mary Poppins is now being finished and should be ready for the theatres during the Fall of 1964. I hope you will see it because we think it is the best live action picture we have ever made. I hope you enjoy The Sword in the Stone when you go to see it. This is all animation and is filled with interesting characters—we're all very fond of this picture. I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year." In fine condition. Accompanied by the original Walt Disney Productions mailing envelope.
