Fabulous group of three original hand-painted banners done by artist Arthur K. Miller, mixed media on canvas, 21.5 x 34.25, featuring excellent 'head shot' portrayals of Groucho, Chico, and Harpo Marx, with "Paramount Pictures" below. These 'personality posters' are part of a continuing series by Miller inspired by posters created by the major film studios in the 1930s and 1940s to promote their stars, largely in the European markets. Intentionally distressed for vintage appeal, signed at the bottom by Miller with his last name, and titled, dated, and signed again on the reverse edge in black felt tip. Rolled and in fine condition. In this series of banners, Miller utilized mixed media on raw canvas in a 'faux-antique' style developed to capture the essence of pop cultural artifacts once lost to the ages.
