Description

American actress, dancer and singer (born 1920) who won a Tony Award in 1949 for her performance in Love Life, and in the mid-1950s she won three Emmy Awards as Sid Caesar's comedic partner on Caesar's Hour. Fabray has been a longtime advocate for the rights of the deaf and hard of hearing, and has been honored with the President's Distinguished Service Award and the Eleanor Roosevelt Humanitarian Award. Appealing vintage semi-glossy 8 x 10 studio portrait of Fabray by Murray Korman of New York, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "To Warren, My very best wishes, Nanette Fabray, 1945.” In fine condition.
