ALS, one page, 5.5 x 8.5, personal letterhead, July 23, 1937. Letter to Mr. Rugoff, in full: "I'd be delighted to see you if I were in town. But the secretarial job is already filled. Please give my thanks & greetings to Miss Lustgarten." Includes a black ink signature, "Sinclair Lewis, Apr. 16, 1943," on a beige 6.75 x 9.75 sheet. In overall fine condition.
