Dazzling pair of ornamental cufflinks worn by Prince during the Purple Rain era, each measuring 1″ x 1.25″, featuring large central silver mirror-finish jewels encircled by blue-and-white faux diamond-like gems, set upon silver-colored bases. Removed prior to laundering, these cufflinks closely resemble the style found on Prince's iconic white ruffled shirt as seen in photographs from the Purple Rain Tour. In fine condition, with a few missing blue-and-white gemstones. A gorgeous tandem of wardrobe accessories worn by Prince during his most successful and influential period. Purple Rain made Prince the first singer to ever simultaneously hold the No. 1 album, single, and film in the US charts. From the collection of costume designer Helen Hiatt and accompanied by a letter of provenance.
