TLS as president, one page, 6 x 8.25, White House letterhead, November 10, 1956. Letter to Frank O. H. Williams, chairman of the alumni board at Yale University. In full: "Your support and encouragement as a member of the Committee of the Arts and Sciences for Eisenhower has been a source of great satisfaction to me during these past weeks. The confidence that you have thus expressed in the Administration's programs will be very much in the minds of my associates and myself as we continue to develop and pursue the broad policies of which you have approved. With the active and continuing interest of citizens like yourself, our government can continue to move forward in attaining and preserving freedom and opportunity, justice and peace for all peoples." Matted and framed to an overall size of 13 x 15. In fine condition, with a paperclip impression to the upper left corner.
