Accompanied by a letter of provenance from PRN general manager Karen Krattinger, in part: "The…item was acquired by me while I was an employee for the musician, Prince Rogers Nelson, during the 1980s. Prince was really excited about the release of this movie…I put together the premiere gala with really short notice. It was a contest on MTV. The 10,000th call won the premiere in their home town. It was in Sheridan, Wyoming. They weren't ready for Prince—It was a 1-horse (1 theatre, 1 hotel) town and we took it over!" A magnificent display piece boasting a large Prince signature.
