Sharp original vintage circa 1932 matte-finish 6.5 x 8.5 lightweight photo of Walt Disney and his wife posing with the Academy Award that he won for Best Short Subject (Cartoon), for the Silly Symphonies cartoon Flowers and Trees. Reverse bears an International News Photos stamp and affixed caption dated April 12, 1932. In fine condition. Flowers and Trees was the first commercially released film to be produced in the full-color three-strip Technicolor process. Disney also received an honorary Academy Award in 1932 for the creation of Mickey Mouse.
