Sought-after pair of color 12 x 15.25 giclee prints of original 'punk' paintings by Vicki Berndt: the first, entitled ‘Saint Joey Ramone,’ shows the Ramones frontman in a spiritual pose, revealing a flaming heart wrapped by thorns, holding a Revell cement tube, and set against a brick wall with corona that reads “All Good Cretins Go to Heaven”; the second, entitled ‘Saint Johnny Thunder,” shows the punk legend with corona against a dark background, his shirt reading “LAMF,” and the bleeding heart pierced with seven syringes. Both prints are signed in the lower border in pencil by the artist, and are individually matted and framed to overall sizes of 17.25 x 20.5. In overall fine condition.
