We are almost as pleased as if we had been made Chevaliers ourselves…We have brought a little picture with us, from Rome, which we value very highly & which we want a valuable opinion upon. Can you and will you, help us in the matter by letting me know, who could give me a valuable opinion." Affixed to a larger sheet. In fine condition, with old tape on the reverse and some paper loss to the top edge.
