Letter to Gordon Ringer, in full: "Thank you for your letter of June 4 enclosing a copy of your poem about the late Admiral Yamamoto which I have read with interest." In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope and a clipping of Ringer's poem, 'I, Yamamoto.' Yamamoto, the mastermind of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, had been killed in action in April 1943.
