Rare 11.75 x 8.25 digital print of an original photograph of Bob Dylan and The Band on stage at the Manchester Free Trade Hall, on May 17, 1966, taken by the 16-year-old Mark Makin and annotated with Makin’s credit on the reverse. In very fine condition. This was the legendary show at which a heckler yelled “Judas” at Dylan for having played with an electric band, and which was famously (and mistakenly) bootlegged as ‘The Royal Albert Hall’ concert. Consignor notes that this was obtained from the archives of a stock photo agency, which licensed photographs to magazines and newspapers on behalf of photographers. Makin’s photographs of Dylan and The Band are the only images to ever surface of this legendary show.
