Two original vintage satin-finish photos of U2's lead singer and guitarist: an 8 x 10 portrait of Bono by David Corio, bearing a RETNA Pictures label on the reverse; and a 10 x 8 photo of Edge playing his Fender guitar, bearing London Features International and Andrew Catlin credit labels on the reverse. In overall fine condition, with a few surface scuffs to the Edge photo. David Corio began his career in 1978 as a photographer for New Musical Express, followed by The Face, Time Out, and Black Echoes. Retna was established in 1978 by photographer Michael Putland and is one of the largest independent photo agencies in the world, and licenses photographs for publication. Catlin is an important English photographer whose work has been widely published and exhibited in many galleries. London Features International was a London-based photo agency that started in the 1960s, and licensed photographs to magazines and newspapers for publication.
