Large sample of the sheer spangled crinoline tulle used to make Princess Diana's wedding veil. The fine material is hand-embroidered with mother-of-pearl sequins designed to make it subtly sparkle. In fine condition. In the 2006 book A Dress for Diana by David and Elizabeth Emanuel, they write, 'It was designed really just to catch the light, not so that you would actually see the sequins in the veil, but so that it would twinkle and look magical under the lights.' Accompanied by a page from the book showing the veil. A beautiful piece from an iconic component of Diana's wedding dress.
