TLS signed “L. Olivier,” one page, 5.5 x 7, personal letterhead, May 22, 1979. Letter to Kevin Walsh, in part: "My advice to you, I am afraid, is to give up any idea of becoming an actor. The profession is so very over-crowded and out of an Equity membership of over 25,000, there are only about 2 1/2% of people in anything approaching regular work. It is a hard life with, for most people, not much reward. The so-called 'stars' of the profession can be counted on one hand. If you are determined to go ahead, however, I would most strongly advise you to go to a reputable drama school when you are old enough (I believe the acceptance age is 18, but you could ring the Registrar of the schools and find out). I do hope this letter is of some use to you." In fine condition.
