Includes a ticket stub for the June 13th equestrian events. In very good to fine condition, with scattered spots and tarnishing, and a small dent to the rim of the plate. The main 1956 Summer Games were held in Melbourne, Australia, but the equestrian events could not be held there due to quarantine regulations; Stockholm was chosen as the alternative site. The equestrian events began in June, nearly six months earlier than the official opening ceremonies in Melbourne.
