TLS signed “Florence Kling Harding,” two pages on two adjoining black-bordered sheets, 4.75 x 6.5, May 6, 1924. Letter to Mrs. George B. Richards, in part: "I will not venture to comment upon your suggestion as to the Memorial at Washington because I have found that it is dangerous for me to do so on account of the multiplicity of projects of that character, which are brought to me from all parts of the country. For that reason I have been forced to confine my own efforts and suggestions to the Harding Memorial Association and the development of its plans." In fine condition, with a spot of soiling.
