Description

Partly-printed vellum DS as president, one page, 13.75 x 17.75, March 5, 1835. President Jackson appoints Edmund Schriver as a "Second Lieutenant in the Second Regiment of Artillery in the service of the United States." Signed at the conclusion by Jackson, and countersigned by Secretary of War Lewis Cass. White War Office seal remains affixed to upper left. In very good to fine condition, with scattered light toning.
