Letter to General Edward Hand, in full: "I have received your favor of the 16th, please to send the two men you mention to Reading. Captain Hughes will move from this city to morrow for that place and then to Fort Pitt—he will march upwards of 100 recruits from this city and Reading. The accounts as well for Subsistence as contingent charges for these two men I wish that you would certify and transmit under cover to Joseph Howell the paymaster. The money due will be immediately paid to the orders of the persons entitled thereto. Please do let me know how the rifle makers stand." In fine condition.
