Official badge issued for the Rome 1960 Summer Olympics, 45 mm x 50 mm, 29 gm, featuring a gold-tone bezel with inset medallion depicting Romulus and Remus with the Capitoline Wolf, and Olympic rings below. The purple enamel panel at the bottom features gold lettering, "C.N.O. [Comite National Olympique]." Reverse of badge reads: "Stab. Artistici Fiorentini, Firenze." According to the 1960 official report, only 274 of the Comite National Olympique badges were distributed.
