Q & A with Buzz Aldrin, an "Interested Observer"

Handwritten answers from Aldrin on a typed letter from the Cornwall Space Observers, 8.5 x 6.5, May 13, 1973. Aldrin responds to three questions in black ink and signs his name at the conclusion. First question: "What is your role in the U. S. Space programs? [Aldrin] Interested Observer. Retired NASA June 1972, C. O. Test Pilot School, Retired USAF Mar 1972." Second question: "What was the experiment you performed during the Gemini 12 flight? (e.v.a.) [Aldrin] Quite a few 5 1/2 hrs EVA. Write NASA for Gemini Summary Report. Convincing people EVA was easy." Third question: "What was the hardest part of the training for Apollo 11? [Aldrin] Normal emergency procedures especially for landing, and lift off. Timeline of our normal lunar surface procedures." In fine condition. Pre-certified Zarelli Space Authentication.
