Kurt Weill

Eminent German-American composer (1900–1950) best known for such evergreen stage works as the Threepenny Opera, Mahagonny, and Knickerbocker Holiday. A number of his songs, including ‘Mack the Knife’ and ‘September Song,’ take a place among the most durable standards of the 20th century. Uncommon fountain pen signature and inscription, "For Dr. Eisenberg, with my best wishes, Kurt Weill, April 1944,” on an off-white 5 x 3 card. Affixed to a larger sheet bearing a clipped image of the composer. In fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
