Vintage circa 1936 pencil signature, "J. DiMaggio,” on an off-white 4.25 x 6 album page bearing an affixed newspaper clipping of the first year Yankee. In very good to fine condition, with light rippling from the affixed newspaper portrait. DiMaggio made his major league debut for the New York Yankees on May 3, 1936. As New York's newest out fielder, DiMaggio batted in front of Lou Gehrig and hit .323 with a lead-leading fifteen triples; his outstanding play earned him the first of his thirteen All-Star selections.
